We're back from Oman. It was a wonderful trip, and an amazing contrast from cosmopolitan Dubai. Friendly but foreign, exotic. We made new friends, ate questionable foods, and took a lot of photos.

Wow! I can't wait to hear all about your trip. I so want to get to see the sea turtles now...
While trying not to sound redundant, WOW! I've seen sea turtles, even swam with a small one (they're fast in the water!), but I've never seen one that large! Great photo opportunity. By the sound of it, Dubai seems to have changed a lot since I was there in '94. No man-made islands or hotels off-shore back then.
